Help fight choosing a hand made bowl made by PHHS students and local potters to fill with soup. Keep the bowl as a reminder that there are always empty bowls in the world. Tickets are $15, sold in advance by Montpelier Center and PHHS Fine Art Students. Sponsored by The Montpelier Center for Arts & Education, Homemades by Suzanne, Ironhorse Restaurant, Portofino's and Williams Bakery. All proceeds benefit WHEAT (Western Hanover Emergency Action Team).

Free Concert featuring the West Hanover Bluegrass and special guest, Crusaders for Christ, opens at 6:45pm in Ballroom. Light refreshments available.
Pampered Chef & Vera Bradley Bingo
Friday, February 17 at 7pm
Join us for a fun night of bingo with Pampered Chef and Vera Bradley products as prizes for each game. $20 for 16 games includes door prizes and cake auction. There will also be a raffle. Tickets can be purchased on line, at office or from Betty Brabrand at 883-5008.

April 6: Heritage Music Night, Starts at 6:45 p.m. Featuring: The West Hanover Boys with special guest band, Louisa Jazz Band. This free concert is a monthly treat! Donations accepted to benefit the Center. Snacks and drinks are available for a fee.
April 2 through April 22: In Our Gallery - New Art Works by the Students at the Montpelier Center.The Gallery is open Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays. Opening Reception: Wednesday, April 4, from 5 to 7pm.
April 20: Gift Card Bingo Starts at 7 p.m. – Join us for a fun night of bingo with mystery prizes (gift cards, jewelry, etc..) for each game! Admission fee is $20pp which includes snacks, all sixteen bingo games and a chance for door prizes.
April 28 through June 30: In Our Gallery – National Juried Exhibition, The Virginia Regional Exhibition and The Young Artist Exhibition. The Gallery is open Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 10:00 a.m. – 2 p.m. Reception April 28 from 6:30 pm to 9 pm.
April 28: 15th Annual Celebration of the Arts Exhibition Opening and Awards Reception. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. featuring three exhibitions works of art: The National Juried, The Virginia Regional Exhibition and The Young Artist Exhibition. The evening will begin with a music, wine, hors d’oeuvres and the recognition of the winners in all 3 exhibits. Advance Ticket price $10 member/$15 guest, door price $15 member/$20 guest.

July 2- August 29: In Our Gallery – Barbara D. Jones, a one woman show representing a range of paintings by the artist. The exhbit will also include an instructional series of paintings intended to interpret the creative process. The Gallery is open Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 10:00 a.m. – 2 p.m. Opening reception: Sunday, July10 from, 3 to 5 pm. Reception: Sunday, August 8th from 3 to 5pm.
July 13: Quilt Bingo Starts at 7 p.m. – Join us for a fun night of bingo with the proceeds benefiting The American Cancer Society! Admission fee is $20pp which includes snacks, all sixteen bingo games and a chance for door prizes.
July 14: Gospel CHicken House Express. Doors open at 4pm, with music at 6p featuring Vickie Bruce and the Wings of love, the Gospel Chicken House Band and he roosters. Come out and support this live and free venue for gospel music. Love offering will be passed around.

November 11 Basket Bingo, 7:00 p.m., For a very worthy cause join in for a great night of bingo! Sixteen games total with a Longaberger Basket as the prize to the winner of each game. Admission Fee $20pp which includes snacks, all sixteen bingo games and a chance for door prizes. There will also be an Auction of homemade cakes and a raffle for Longaberger Baskets. All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. Call Betty Brabrand at 883-5008 for all the details.
November 19 Gospel Chicken House Express, Music starts at 6pm, fellowship and food sales open at 5pm.
November 18 to December 30: In Our Gallery -The Grand Local Artists Show. The Montpelier Center for Arts and Education hosted the 4th Annual Local Artists Show in which approximately 50 artists from Center members, students and artists of West Hanover and Louisa Counties, Ashland, Rockville and other local communities. Reception: November 20 from 3 pm to 5 pm.
2012 Grand Local Artists Show: ARTISTS!! Start planning and painting NOW for the new "Hanover County Landmarks & Legends: Small Works of Art Show" in 2012. This will be in conjunction with the annual Grand Local Artists Show. Pieces 11"x14" and smaller may be submitted for this special exhibition. More information to follow as plans develop.

December 4: Grand Illumination, Come and celebrate the holiday season by with the lighting of the trees, holiday music, carols sing-a-long and light refreshments. Starts at 5:30 p.m. Admission: Free.
December 10: Santa's North Pole, Come and enjoy a free visit with Santa from 11 to 2pm! Additional fees apply to professional photos with Santa.
