Welcome to The Montpelier Center for Arts & Education

As you travel along scenic Route 33, you’ll pass a nearly 100-year-old school building, lovingly restored by dedicated community members and local businesses.

Today, this historic space is home to The Montpelier Center, where you'll find a vibrant art gallery, enriching classes, and community events that often spill out onto the beautiful Village Green.

One of our most cherished features is the LOVE artwork sign, crafted from tools and materials donated by local residents. This one-of-a-kind piece reflects the spirit, values, and rural charm of our community.

We invite you to stop in—explore the current gallery exhibit, sign up for a class, become a patron member, or join us for one of our many programs and events.

The Montpelier Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, proudly independent and not affiliated with any government entity.

Montpelier Days was a Big Success!

September 27, 2025, will go on the books as an amazing celebration! The rain did not dampen the fun as we brought back a long-standing tradition in Montpelier.

Congratulations to our NEW Honorary Mayor, Wayne Waldrop, and to Sue Durlak, who drove away as the lucky winner of the golf cart!

A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who worked so hard to make this event both fun and safe for all. We are especially grateful to our Board members and volunteers who spent countless hours behind the scenes making it all possible.

Finally, we extend our deepest appreciation to our generous sponsors, whose support brought this celebration to life.

Because of each of you—our community, volunteers, and sponsors—this tradition is alive and thriving once again!
