Montpelier Days is where small-town charm meets big community spirit. Each fall, beginning again on September 27, 2025, friends, families, and neighbors will gather at The Montpelier Center for Arts & Education for a full day of celebration.

From the excitement of the parade and the sounds of live music to shopping with local vendors, savoring great food, and exploring our Heritage Hollow, Montpelier Days brings people together to honor tradition, showcase local talent, and create lasting memories. Whether you come for the entertainment, the kids’ activities, or simply to enjoy a day in the heart of Montpelier, Montpelier Days has something special for everyone.

Event Highlights

10:00 am—Montpelier Days will kick-off with a Parade through Montpelier

11:00 am—Opening Ceremonies

  • National Anthem: Kari Smith Music

  • Pledge of Allegiance

  • Prayer

  • Announcement of Honorary Mayor and Remarks

  • Recognition of Miss Montpelier Days Queens

11:00 am – 3:00 pm—Touch-a-Truck Display

11:00 am – 3:00 pm—Heritage Hollow Historical Demos and Kid’s Area Open

11:00 am – 3:00 pm—Antique Car Display

11:30 am—Live Performance — Hanover Harmony

12:30 pm—Children’s Concert performed by Lily Bell Morgan, the voice of Yoyo on Cocomelon

1:00 pm—Live Performance — Nick Kump

2:30 pm—Live Performance – Ragged Edge Band

3:00 pm—Square Dance hosted by Malcolm Shealy

    History is being made at Montpelier Days with the election of our very first Honorary Mayor of Montpelier. Two local leaders are stepping up to represent the community, and it’s up to YOU to decide who will wear the title.

    Every vote is a donation, with all proceeds supporting programs at The Montpelier Center for Arts & Education. Cast your vote as often as you like and rally your friends, family, and neighbors. Every dollar counts as a vote and brings your candidate closer to victory.

    The winner will be announced during Montpelier Days on Saturday, September 27, and will help kick off the festivities in true hometown style.
