Speaker - John Plashal
John Plashal is a photographer, author and speaker based out of Richmond, Virginia. John spends a considerable amount of his free time assimilating into rural communities in Virginia, ultimately with the goal of tapping into local knowledge to identify, photograph and document places that offer beauty in decay and unique histories. John's inaugural photographic coffee table book, "A Beautifully Broken Virginia", offers creative visual commemoration to the places he has visited and has come to deeply appreciate.
