Is The Montpelier Center a good place to hold a wedding and other events?

Yes! The Montpelier Center, a 1920’s restored schoolhouse, is the perfect blend of nostalgic character and comfortable sophistication for an unforgettable, story-rich celebration. Where historic charm meets refined elegance with all the modern comforts. Our atrium ballroom is a beautiful venue for weddings and other celebrations.

Whether hosting weddings, engagement parties, bridal or baby showers, milestone birthdays, or reunions, it all comes together to set a scene because of how it makes you feel. And making everyone feel welcome is the magic of the Montpelier Center’s charm.

Is there an outdoor area to hold a ceremony and/or reception?

The Montpelier Center Village Green is a private garden maintained by the Center for special events. The Village Green is surrounded by trees, brick pathways, and a beautiful brick serpentine wall. All of this in addition to lovely views of the Page Memorial Library, located within the historic Sycamore Tavern.

This space is ideal for a very large tent for having your special event under the stars.

Is there a Rain Plan if I use the outdoor area for my event?

No worries if Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate. You can easily move your event into the Ballroom in a jiffy!

Is there ample parking available for larger events?

There are multiple, well-lit parking areas next to the Center.

Is the Montpelier Center Handicapped Accessible?

Yes, The Center has handicapped accessible entrances and bathrooms.

Is there a kitchen for use during my event?

Yes, there is a full caterer’s prep kitchen that is included in your rental.
