Quilt Show Reception

Join The Montpellier Center and Country School Quilters for a Heritage Quilt Show & Tell, a celebration of quilting as art, tradition, and personal history.

Bring a quilt of your own to share — whether it’s a cherished family heirloom or a recent project. All stories and skill levels are welcome. Each quilt has a story, and we'd love for you to share yours. Registration is open through July 21, 2025.

Dawn Burnett from Scotchtown will be giving a lecture on samplers and their history.

Free and open to all.

Where: The Montpelier Center Ballroom

This program is part of the Virginia American Revolution 250 Commission (VA 250), which was created by the Virginia General Assembly for the purpose of planning for—and commemorating—the 250th anniversary of Virginia’s participation in American independence. The Declaration of Independence, written primarily by Virginia’s Thomas Jefferson, was signed by fellow members of the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776.
