Program & Hospitality Support Coordinator Position Summary:

The Program & Hospitality Support Coordinator provides administrative, event, and guest support for programs and activities at Montpelier Center for Arts and Education. This position helps ensure a welcoming environment for students, instructors, artists, visitors, and community partners while assisting with daily operations and programming needs.

This is a full-time, hourly position scheduled Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

Schedule:

·         Monday – Friday

·         30 hours per week

·         Occasional flexibility may be needed for special events or programs

Key Responsibilities:

·         Support daily operations and community programming

·         Assist with class setup, event preparation, and hospitality needs

·         Welcome guests, students, instructors, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

·         Answer phones, emails, and general inquiries

·         Help coordinate schedules, registrations, and program logistics

·         Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming public spaces

·         Assist with hospitality for meetings, workshops, and special events

·         Support marketing and communications efforts, including social media updates and flyers

·         Track supplies and assist with purchasing or restocking as needed

·         Provide general administrative support to staff and instructors

·         Qualifications

·         Strong customer service and communication skills

·         Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented

·         Ability to multitask and work independently

·         Comfortable using basic computer programs, email, and scheduling tools

·         Experience in hospitality, events, arts administration, or community programming preferred

·         Positive attitude and ability to work well with the public

 

This role involves a combination of office, front desk, classroom, and event support duties in a community arts and education setting. Some lifting and movement of tables, chairs, and supplies may be required.
